Ufo Camping Light
What was the light in the sky?
A friend and i were out camping one night and as we were walking towards the forest a bright orange oval light flashed across the top of the woods, it was like the light off a street lamp and the size of two buses end to end.
I'm not claiming i seen a ufo, so i would like to see if anyone has a rational explanation for this.
The weather was very calm too (it definitely wasn't lightning)
Here's one possibility: there's much research going on these days, both in government and with the military, with something called plasma physics. A great deal of work is being done in trying to understand the nature of "ball-lightning," and how to control and use it.
I believe that is what a lot of these sighting are which claim to see "balls of fire" of various colors flashing and moving across the sky.
