Petzl Tikka Plus
A head torch is a great piece of kit to own. Even if you only use it at home for those all important D.I.Y jobs where you need your hands free. For convenience it also comes with a long range whistle that can signal your position if you need rescuing.
Cybalite from Ring also offer some great head torches at budget prices. If you want to save a few quid the Ring Cybalite Sport LED head torch is great value for money. It features the quality of more expensive brands but doesn't carry the same price tag. It has 5 LED's with a 4 mode operation. Lit on one LED the battery lasts up to 100 hours. The total weight including batteries is just 75 grams.
