Off Pressure Switch
how do you remove a broken oil pressure switch?
I have a 95 toyota tercel and the oil pressure sending unit broke off at the threads in the block...Sigh.....Ive tried a tap set but i still cant get it to budge! What other options do i have to get that outta there? Does anyone also know about how much a shop will charge to remove? Thanks In Advance!
Use an "easy out" There are a lot of choices here the least expensive is a torx socket, drive the correct size torx into the center of the oil pressure switches center (oil) hole and back it out, it usually isn't seized just overtightened.
