Army Marching Hiking
Can anyone give me advice on preparing for Army basic training?
If You Fail to Prepare You Prepare to Fail <<< Good quote that goes along with what im talking about. I have 6 months until basic and I already lift weights and run and stuff right now i could come close to a 300 on a Army PFT. But besides that i would like to start doing things that will put me that much more "ahead of the game" So pretty much im just asking for some advice on what i can do. Steep hill hikes? ruck marching? climbing ropes? Share anything that you think would help me.
P.S I gave up drinking soda a couple months ago and i know the soldiers creed and i roughly know the ranks and stuff.
Check out these articles which I have written. they should be helpful to you. I was in the Army for Seven (7) years and served in Iraq:
