Product Description Redesigned and resized for 2004, this Camp and Comfort Series stuff sack will protect your self-inflating Camp and Comfort Series Thermarest mattresses in between trips to camp sites and cabins. Each sack accommodates an appropriately-sized DreamTime, BaseCamp, LuxuryCamp or RidgeRest Deluxe mattress. All you do is roll up your mattress, slide it in the sack and cinch down the clip loop. A practical repair kit pocket keeps everything together when you need it.

Works as it should. January 6, 2009 A lot of other campers keep their thermarest rolled up by itself, but since they're not cheap I like to keep them rolled up in something. This fit my thermarest which is the bigger and thicker version of the basecamp I think. Works fine.
RidgeRest Deluxe will not fit in any Therm-a-Rest stuff sack November 21, 2008 I bought a Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Deluxe (size regular) from Amazon. I wanted a stuff sack for it. Amazon's product description for this Therm-a-Rest Camp & Comfort Stuff Sack said, "Redesigned and resized for 2004, this Camp and Comfort Series stuff sack will protect your self-inflating Camp and Comfort Series Thermarest mattresses in between trips to camp sites and cabins. Each sack accommodates an appropriately-sized DreamTime, BaseCamp, LuxuryCamp or RidgeRest Deluxe mattress. All you do is roll up your mattress, slide it in the sack and cinch down the clip loop. A practical repair kit pocket keeps everything together when you need it." I purchased this Therm-a-Rest Camp & Comfort Stuff Sack in the large size. Unfortunately, there's no way the RidgeRest would fit it any size of this stuff sack. Now that I have looked more carefully using Therm-a-Rest's website, I see that the rolled size of the RidgeRest Deluxe is 8.6" x 20". The largest diameter of this stuff sack is only 7.25 in. I gave this sack a 4-star rating because it seems sturdy and well-made, and I like how it can fold up into its own little pocket (the "practical repair kit pocket" on the outside of the bottom of the sack). Once I knew the right diameter to look for, I couldn't find a Therm-a-Rest stuff sack that would be big enough for the RidgeRest Deluxe, even on the Therm-a-Rest website. So I found a different brand stuff sack, size 10" x 24", at Sportsman's Warehouse that fits my regular RidgeRest Deluxe.
7.25" is tiny October 1, 2008 I should have read better and thought about it. You won't fit a rolled sleeping bag in a 7.25" diam. bag.
Recommended September 19, 2008 You really don't have much choice. The Therm-a-Rest sleeping pads are pricey and would be difficult to transport without the stuff sacks. The stuff sacks don't add that much to the overall price, and they work very well for easily packing and moving the pads. The pads do need to be rolled quite tightly to make them fit into the stuff sack, but that's a good thing in the end. So far, I've used these stuff sacks on only one camping trip, but I've been quite pleased.
Tight fit August 8, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Stuff sack is a compact way to carry the pad - but, beware - the fit is very tight for a base camp large pad.
