Amazon.com Review Weber's Go-Anywhere charcoal grill makes a great companion for camping and tailgate parties. This compact unit has a surprisingly generous grilling area--large enough to fit four medium steaks. You can lock the lid into place with the pivoting legs and carry this lightweight grill around in one hand. Built-in lid hangers allow you to rest the lid on the side of the grill to create an effective barrier against the wind. The triple-nickel-coated steel grate is easy to clean, and the porcelain-enameled steel lid and cooking box are built to last.
Product Description Bring this portable table top grill to the next game, on your weekend getaway, or at the backyard get-together. Great convenience with folding legs that lock cover in place for no-mess carrying and storage. Heat resistant nylon handles 160 sq. inch cooking area Legs fold to lock cover in place for easy carrying & storage 10 year limited warranty

best little grill ever September 24, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ingeniously designed, careful unpacking (preserve carton's integrity)will result in compact storage for ASSEMBLED grill. Clever support structure provides a stable grill, with support legs easily folded back into storage mode. HOWEVER, instructions ought to be revised to insure that the final step -- the placing of the bed surface for the charcoal -- should emphasize that the grill support for the coals MUST sit on the chrome pegs designed to hold bed surface ABOVE the grill's floor. (I didn't do that, and the grilling of 32 hamburgers started out badly, because the bottom grill was ON THE FLOOR of the grill, too far distant from the burgers to cook them. I wound up switching to an electric grill. Once cleaned up, the Weber, legs folded compactly, went back into its carton for shelf storage in the garage. Much superior to the standard leggy version that sits outdoors and rusts, or gets knocked over by the car, badly parked, in the garage.
Well Built August 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Temp is easy to control and is evenly distributed. It sets solid and is well constructed. It is easy to transport. Excellent product!
You can't beat a Weber August 7, 2008 It is a great addition to the family, but i must say it is quite small and would only recommend it for two people. If you intend to cook more other than burgers and dogs its a little small to feed a group. All in all its a great lil pit and super easy to clean up and travel with.
Easy Grilling July 29, 2008 We took this grill on our annual camping trip. We normally take a propane grill -- and thought we'd give this a try as our normal grill takes a lot of space, doesn't really "grill" things.....The Weber was easy to set up, easy to keep clean, has great air vents that can be adjusted to get coals going, slow the heat down, etc... We were 2 kids and 2 adults -- wished it was a little bigger but with a 2 burner propane stove -- we were able to cook meals just fine. We'll use this Weber again next year and skip the Portable Thermos Propane Grill.
Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this grill. In the past, I had the gas version, which I also loved. This charcoal version does not disappoint, either.
One great thing I like is that when I am done cooking, I can close all of the vents and the charcoal will go out and can be re-used again for the next grilling (although, you do need to stack the briquets up again in order to light them, which can get ya' a bit messy...).
Buyt this grill. It's very portable and is quality built. Very easy to clean, too.
One note: The first one I received from Amazon had a top vent that I felt was a bit too loose to be able to function properly. Amazon makes it so easy to return and exchange items. They had a new one shipping to me before I even shipped the old one back, pre-paid shipping charges paid for by Amazon, too. Well done, Amazon!
